"At Carter Eye Center, the staff was so nice during the whole process, and Dr. Carter talks to you during the procedure to help keep you calm! We live right on Lake Lewisville, and this morning I woke up able to look out my window and see th...e waves on the surface of the water without having to put my contacts in! This is only day one, and my eyes still need to finish healing, but I'm amazed with the results already! Thank you Dr. Carter & Staff!!!!"

"I had cataract surgery done on my right eye a week and a half ago. Those of you with perfect vision probably take it for granted, but...it is SO AMAZING to be able to SEE things so clearly (at least out of one eye)! "I have been wearing glasses for over 47 years. I do not think that I ever thought that there was a day that I would be able wake up in the morning, open my eyes and just be able to see clearly. I guess that when I was younger, a surgery like LASIK was thought of as way too expensive. I have to thank my husband for the wonderful Christmas present that he gave me!Choosing Carter Eye Center and Dr. Harvey Carter for my surgery was the best decision I ever made. I can not imagine being treated better any where else. The staff was very accommodating to my busy schedule and found opening where they could even thought I had to cancel at the last minute one time.Dr. Harvey Carter made me feel COMPLETELY at ease and the surgery itself was SOOOO quick. "Carter Eye Center in Dallas, TX was amazing! Dr. Harvey Carter and the staff were nothing short of wonderful to me and my mom. I had LASIK done two weekends ago and I can not even begin to describe the joy I feel not having to fumble around for my glasses in the morning. It is still pretty surreal that these are my eyes. I was a tiny bit scared (who wouldn't be after you know that you are going to go under a laser) but the staff and Dr. Carter calmed my nerves and took my mind off of my procedure. I really could not be happier with the outcome and where I chose to have my LASIK surgery. It was not the cheapest price that I found but they came highly recommended and I am glad that I chose them. "

"I had LASIK surgery at Carter Eye Center on thursday evening, the surgery only took a few minutes and there was no pain or discomfort. The day after my surgery I went back to work and I was even able to go camping this weekend, SO AMAZED WITH THE RESULTS!!! "

I got Lasik about 6 months ago from Dr. Carter at the Carter Eye Center and I am so happy that I did. To be glasses-free is literally one of the best feeling in the world (especially since I have been wearing glasses since the age of 4.) The staff was wonderful and I am truly complaint free with my visit to Dr Carter."

I was looking for a new eye doctor and Carter Eye Center is one of several in the Dallas area that took my insurance. The office is also located close to my house. I looked up a couple of the ones that took my insurance and saw that Carter Eye Center had really great reviews so I decided to try using them for my eye exam. Overall, my experience was very good. I had an appointment with the eye doctor at this location. They were very thorough with my medical history and during my appointment at Carter Eye Center. It was a good experience, I have really bad vision so it was really nice that he took the time to very thorough. I am used to people rushing in, seeing me really quick, then rushing out. That was not the case here. I got my prescription for my contacts and can say that this will be my new eye doctor for the long haul. Thank you Carter Eye Center!"

"A+ Service at the Carter Eye Center Optical Department
I have been going to Carter Eye Center for about 2 years. Since I was kid, I have had different eye issue like infections and things of that nature. I first chose them because they are close to where I live but I am really glad that I found them.
I go there for my normal yearly glasses prescription but the other day I had an infection in my eye and they were able to see me very quickly. I was so glad because the holidays were coming up and I did not want to be stuck not being able to see a doctor before the holiday.
As usual, everyone at the office was very nice and friendly. I am not the kind of person that usually gives reviews but their handling of me getting gin quick before the holidays was something that I wanted to praise them on. I will not go to another place for my eyes. Maybe one day I will bite the bullet and get LASIK from Carter Eye Center but until them, I am very happy with their optical department. "

Dr Harvey Carter is a wonderful ophthalmologist. After VERY careful consideration and A LOT of research, I finally decided on Carter Eye Center and Dr Harvey Carter to perform my intraLASIK surgery. It really was a great choice. I went to the initial meeting to see if I could have the surgery. I have been told for a very long time that I was not a candidate because of the type of astigmatism that I have. Apparently the technology has gotten better and there was also mention about the fact that since they no longer do blade lasik that I am now a candidate.
On the day of, I was basically freaking out. I almost called off the procedure because I was scared that I would be shaking during the procedure and would not be able to have it. I was completely put at ease by the staff and now am super happy that I went through with it.
To not have to wear contacts is amazing! Thank you Dr Harvey carter!!!"
